Position Summary
The HR Recruiting Specialist is responsible for executing the full-cycle recruitment process to ensure the organization is staffed with qualified talent across all levels of the business. This position partners with hiring managers to manage requisitions, source and evaluate candidates, coordinate interviews, communicate with staffing agencies, prepare new hires for onboarding, and guide candidates from initial contact through offer acceptance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for positions ranging from entry-level manufacturing to executive leadership, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from sourcing through offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, prioritize hiring needs, and fill critical positions with top talent.
- Source and engage candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, staffing agencies, career fairs, and other recruiting channels.
- Manage recruiting workflows, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding readiness.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines while tracking candidate progress and recruiting metrics within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)/HRIS.
- Represent Lake Air at hiring events, technical schools, and community outreach opportunities to strengthen our employer brand and attract exceptional talent.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing recruiting metrics, identifying process enhancements, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and hiring practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of related HR/Recruiting experience (preferably in a manufacturing setting) required.
- Ability to support multiple shifts as needed.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships and partnerships with business leaders, hiring managers, external staffing partners, etc.
- Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and easily adapt to change.
- Working knowledge of ERP, ADP, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and external recruiting platforms and professional networking sites.
- Ability to effectively manage sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Ability to leverage technology to simplify processes and improve customer satisfaction.
Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential
PHR, SHRM-SCP certification preferred. Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential-SHRM Preferred.
