Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. This position is office-based with eligibility for hybrid work at the manager’s discretion.

$23 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for onboarding-related questions, providing timely, accurate information and escalating complex issues when appropriate.
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities for new hires by following established processes and timelines, ensuring all pre-employment requirements for internal and external customers are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Lead and/or support weekly New Hire Orientation sessions, delivering consistent information on company policies, culture, and values.
- Enter, update, and maintain employee data within the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company procedures.
- Process and maintain HR transactions, including new hires, personal change requests, and time-and-labor system maintenance.
- Conduct scheduled data quality audits and resolve discrepancies by applying predefined correction processes; escalate unresolved issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, including I-9 forms and E-Verify documentation, in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist with compliance activities by completing assigned tasks in alignment with company policies and timelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support HR initiatives and contribute to organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to effectively communicate and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing tasks and priorities.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with employees and managers at all levels.
- Strong sense of urgency in both action and communication.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
Preferences
- Prior experience in an HR, onboarding, or shared services environment.
- Working knowledge of federal employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience using Paylocity.
- Experience using Fieldglass or other vendor management systems.
Physical Effort/Activities
- Continuous office work, including sitting at a desk for long periods, answering telephones, and using a computer.
- Occasional walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds may be required in the performance of duties.
