About the role
The YRCI HRROC™ is a Shared Service Center supporting multiple Federal agencies. This role is fully remote and supports clients through various HR activities including processing noncompetitive hiring actions, PAR actions, change of duty station requests, and more.
Responsibilities
- Supports the hiring manager in the classification of Position Descriptions (PD).
- Aids the hiring manager in developing job analyses before submission to HR for recruitment.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager to strategize effective recruitment methods.
- Coordinates and tracks personnel actions throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely completion and stakeholder updates.
- Utilizes HR systems to submit Personnel Action Requests (PAR) actions for processing, including noncompetitive hiring actions, PAR actions, change of duty station requests, and more.
- Tracks, collects, and develops data for HR-related audits, performance appraisals, and other HR processes.
- Supports onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring paperwork is completed, employees are entered into the Employee Manager database, and assistance with badge appointments, network access, and GFE issuance.
- Coordinates exit activities such as badge collection, debriefings, and CD-126 submissions.
- May support Performance Management, Senior Executive Service (SES), Political Appointees, Student Programs, Training and Development, Telework/Remote Work, Incentives, and other HR functions as a representative.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Experience interpreting Federal HR laws, policies, and agency-specific operating procedures
- Experience classifying and staffing Federal HR positions
- Experience compiling and submitting PAR actions for processing
- Proficiency in HR systems such as HRConnect, USA Staffing (USAS), and the National Finance Center (NFC)
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, data quality, and data integrity
- BS/BA degree in a relevant field preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain government-required security clearance
