About the role
We’re looking for a highly organized and people-focused Human Resources Specialist to support key HR initiatives across recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain partnerships with technical schools, colleges, and universities
- Career fairs, campus events, and networking opportunities
- Manage student job postings and support candidate screening, scheduling, and communications
- Career fairs, campus events, and networking opportunities
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including orientation, documentation, and system setup
- Serve as a key point of contact for interns, co-ops, managers, and mentors
- Help ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies
- Process employee changes (promotions, transfers, system updates, etc.)
- Ensure HR data accuracy across systems while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Provide administrative support for HR programs, projects, and initiatives
- Support employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives
- Aid in planning HR events, meetings, and culture-building activities
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and HR projects
What You Bring
- Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related function
- Skills & Strengths
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High level of integrity and professionalism with confidential information
- Proactive mindset with strong initiative
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
Work Environment
This position is onsite five days per week for the first six months to support onboarding, training, and relationship building. After that, employees may have the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule (three days onsite per week) based on performance and business needs.
