Addison Group is partnering with a well-established Financial Services organization in Austin to identify an experienced HR Specialist. The HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting daily human resources operations, ensuring smooth execution of core HR functions including employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and HR systems administration. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. This is a full-time, on-site role with contract-to-hire potential, offering a collaborative and professional work environment, opportunity for long-term growth, exposure to multiple areas of HR, and supportive leadership and team culture.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation and system updates
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs
- Support employee relations matters by documenting concerns and partnering with leadership as needed
- Assist with benefits administration and leave tracking
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment regulations
- Prepare HR reports and assist with internal audits
- Partner with payroll to ensure accurate employee data and processing
- Contribute to process improvements within HR operations
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field
- Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
