Key Responsibilities
- Aid the Central Region Human Resources team in executing HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
- Support managers and employees by responding to HR-related inquiries and directing questions to the appropriate HR team member.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute HR reports, metrics, and workforce data.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation activities.
- Afford assistance with employee engagement activities, employee surveys, and recognition initiatives.
- Provide administrative support for employee relations matters and investigations.
- Assist with leave of absence tracking, workers compensation administration, and accommodation processes.
- Support HR compliance efforts, including labor law postings, audits, personnel records, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct exit interviews and compile feedback for HR review.
- Assist in coordinating training sessions, regional meetings, and HR communications.
- Support the development of presentations, training materials, and meeting agendas.
- Afford administrative support for employee programs and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- One to three years of experience supporting Human Resources, Recruiting, Benefits, Leave Administration, Workers Compensation, Payroll, or related functions preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Workday or similar HRIS experience preferred.
Education and Certifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- An Associate or Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- PREFERRED: PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
