HR Specialist

About the Role

The HR Specialist supports our clients and internal HR team, working closely with the HR Business Partner to provide customized and practical HR solutions across a range of HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, leave administration, performance management, benefits, policies, training, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR Business Partner in supporting clients
• Execute onboarding for clients
• Document, customize, and organize HR resources
• Conduct audits and communicate updates
• Support Thread’s HR systems, processes, and culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred
• Current, valid Driver’s license
• HR experience with an understanding of basic human resources principles, practices, and procedures
• Computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite, G-Suite, payroll reporting, and HR administration
• Ability to provide concise, actionable advice and resolve client issues effectively
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills for HR-related challenges and clear communication with clients
• Strong initiative and follow-through
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
