Responsibilities
- Responsible for processes and procedures for onboarding new employees and conducting orientations.
- Conduct I-9 verification through E-Verify process and maintain filing system.
- Conduct out processing/offboarding upon employees’ departure.
- Conduct and provide trends regarding exit interview information.
- Maintain personnel records and employee certifications, in compliance with HR regulations.
- Compile spreadsheets and reports from personnel databases.
- Review and update HR information system records.
- Aid in enforcing company policies, rules, and regulations.
- Communicate and answer any employee questions timely though email, via phone, or in person.
- Attend and participate in required meetings.
- Assist with filing and other general duties as directed by the Director of HR.
Qualifications / Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in Human Resources with an understanding of HR concepts and/or associate's degree or higher.
- General knowledge of labor and employment laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
- Able to be discreet and confidential with sensitive information.
- Confident and self-motivated.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain schedules.
- Strong organizational skills along with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working in a DoD, Military, or Federal Government environment is a plus.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
