About the role
We are seeking an exceptional HR Specialist to join our dynamic team at Cure 4 The Kids Foundation. This role requires a multi-disciplinary team approach to solving problems and patient challenges.
Responsibilities
- Research, evaluate, and recommend employee benefits plans that provide the best value for both team members and the organization
- Partner with executive leadership to design, implement, and enhance benefits programs
- Manage full-cycle benefits administration, including enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, claims, and compliance testing
- Create and develop open enrollment materials and communicate benefits effectively to employees
- Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers’ compensation, HIPAA, OSHA)
- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update leadership
- Manage accurate employee records
- Support internal audits, reporting, and compliance testing requirements
- Write, update, and maintain HR policies related to benefits
- Act as a trusted advisor to team members and leaders
- Investigate and support resolution of team member relations matters, escalating sensitive issues to HR leadership as appropriate
- Participate in corrective action, coaching, and termination meetings as needed
- Partner with managers to navigate workplace challenges, including performance, engagement, and team dynamics
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and patient-centered culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 or more years of HR experience
- Preferred: 4+ Years of HR experience in a Healthcare setting. HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR)

- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and healthcare regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA)
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Workday)
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills
