HR SPECIALIST
under About the role. Also we need to include any list of duties/requirements/benefits as
- . The posting includes responsibilities: managing payroll and timekeeping, recruitment, reclassifications, Workday events, and coordinating agency and retirement benefits. That's a list; we can put under About the role or Responsibilities. Since we have no explicit Responsibilities heading, we could create a Responsibilities section with that list. But instruction: include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it. The posting includes responsibilities described in main purpose paragraph. We could create a Responsibilities section with that list. Also we have Minimum Qualifications with detailed text; we can put as
or maybe break into
- for subpoints? The qualifications are paragraphs; we can keep as
- Experience in Workday.
- Experience in Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
- Experience demonstrating strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in Workday.
- Experience in Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
- Experience demonstrating strong written and oral communication skills.
. Desired Or Preferred Qualifications: list of three items; we can make
- . LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: paragraph; we can keep as
. SELECTION PROCESS: paragraph; keep as
. Benefits: "STATE OF MARYLAND BENEFITS" then further instructions about applying etc. Actually benefits section includes description of benefits? It just says "STATE OF MARYLAND BENEFITS" then further instructions about application. No specific benefits listed. According to rule: never create Benefits section unless posting actually states them. It only states heading but no detail; we should not create Benefits section because no specific benefits content. So omit Benefits. Also need to include location and maybe job ID? Not needed. We must remove boilerplate: EEO, etc. The posting includes EEO statements at end: "We thank our Veterans...", "People with disabilities...", "As an equal opportunity employer...". Must remove. Also remove application instructions, contact info, etc. The SELECTION PROCESS includes some application instructions; we need to keep only substantive content about selection process, not application instructions like "Complete applications must be submitted by the closing date." That's application instruction; we should remove. The SELECTION PROCESS paragraph includes: "Applicants who meet the minimum (and selective) qualifications will be included in further evaluation. The evaluation may be a rating of your application based on your education, training and experience as they relate to the requirements of the position. Therefore, it is essential that you provide complete and accurate information on your application. Please report all related education, experience, dates and hours of work. Clearly indicate your college degree and major on your application, if applicable. For education obtained outside the U.S., any job offer will be contingent on the candidate providing an evaluation for equivalency by a foreign credential evaluation service prior to starting employment (and may be requested prior to interview). Complete applications must be submitted by the closing date. Information submitted after this date will not be added. Incorrect application forms will not be accepted. Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of a completed application. Candidates may remain on the certified eligible list for a period of at least one year. The resulting certified eligible list for this recruitment may be used for similar positions in this or other State agencies." We need to keep substantive info about selection process: evaluation based on education/training/experience, need to provide complete info, foreign credential evaluation, eligible list usage. Remove application instruction about submitting by closing date, incorrect forms, resumes not accepted, etc. Keep the core. Similarly, "FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS" under Benefits is application instructions; remove. Also "LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS" includes requirement to obtain certification within six months, recertification every six months, motor vehicle license if assigned duties. Keep that. Now structure:

But we should not repeat job title; location is okay as part of About the role. Alternatively we could have separate section for Location? Not needed. Now Responsibilities? Already included. Minimum Qualifications: we can put asMinimum Qualifications
thenwith the detailed text. Might be long; we can keep as paragraph. Desired Or Preferred Qualifications:

SELECTION PROCESS:Selection Process
... (filtered)
We must not include Benefits section. Now ensure we don't include any boilerplate like EEO. Let's craft the filtered selection process paragraph: "Applicants who meet the minimum (and selective) qualifications will be included in further evaluation. Candidates may remain on the certified eligible list for a period of at least one year. The resulting certified eligible list for this recruitment may be used for similar positions in this or other State agencies." We removed sentences about submitting by closing date, incorrect forms, resumes not accepted. Now check for any other boilerplate: "Notes" under Minimum Qualifications: we need to incorporate that into Minimum Qualifications section. The notes about substitution etc. Should be included as part of Minimum Qualifications. Thus Minimum Qualifications paragraph will include the experience requirement and notes about substitution, degree substitution, graduate credit hours substitution, military service substitution. Let's compose that paragraph: "Experience: Five years of experience, one year of professional HR experience involving recruitment and employment services, classification and compensation, employee relations, test development and validation, job analysis, job evaluation, salary administration, HR program evaluation, or HR policy formulation and an additional four years of professional HR management work experience in the areas of recruitment and selection, classification, salary administration, employee relations, test development and validation or as a generalist. Notes: Candidates may substitute paraprofessional personnel work experience on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required experience. Paraprofessional personnel work is defined as work involving the application of public sector personnel procedures, policies, rules and regulations to specific employment actions. Appropriate paraprofessional personnel experience includes responsibility for activities such as: preparing and maintaining employment records, calculating salaries, applying personnel-related rules and policies, preparing personnel related reports, conducting employee orientation and counseling employees regarding benefits and obligations and responding to inquiries concerning employment procedures. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of professional HR experience involving recruitment and employment services, classification and compensation, employee relations, test development and validation, job analysis, job evaluation, salary administration, HR program evaluation, or HR policy formulation for the required experience. Candidates may substitute the possession of thirty graduate credit hours from an accredited college or university in the fields of HR/personnel administration, business administration, public administration, statistics, tests and measurements, psychology or a related field for the required experience. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in human resources management classification or human resources management specialty codes in the human resources management field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience." Now we need to ensure we don't have any placeholder like "N/A". Not present. Now output HTML fragment. Let's produce:About the role
