HR Specialist

About the role

O2B Early Education is an early childhood education company serving families through preschools and school-age programs under brands including O2B Kids, The CHILD Center, and Cedars Preschool. Our team supports the people and operations that help these programs run smoothly, creating a positive experience for employees across the organization. In this hands-on role, you will support core HR processes that help team members move successfully through onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day employment changes. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, values accuracy, and wants to contribute across a range of generalist HR activities in a busy, people-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee onboarding
• Support new hire compliance processes
• Complete HRIS edits and corrections
• Process internal employee transfers
• Assign benefits based on position
• Audit assigned benefits
• Handle other HR generalist tasks as needed

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States

Qualifications

• Experience with HR and hiring or onboarding (preferred)
• Experience in an HR generalist role (preferred)
• Experience with HRIS administration, including PTO adjustments, position changes, auditing, and transfers (preferred)
• Experience with ADP and familiarity with an applicant tracking system (preferred)
• Experience working in people-heavy environments and supporting multi-site operations (preferred)
• A degree in HR, business, or a related field is welcomed
