Essential Functions
- Aid in the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, conducting initial applicant screenings, and coordinating background checks
- Support new employee onboarding by preparing materials, assisting with orientation, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems, including personal information, job details, and benefits information
- Aid in benefits administration, including enrollment, updates, and employee inquiries
- Provide support in employee relations tasks, including responding to routine HR inquiries and escalating issues to the Director of Human Resources or managers as needed
- Aid in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate training and development programs for employees
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding employment and labor laws
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid in preparing reports, presentations, and HR-related documentation
- Collaborate with other departments to provide support on HR-related matters
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Access to reliable internet and telephone services, specifically 10M download and 5M upload packages or higher, as well as a strong WiFi signal from your remote work location
- Must meet pre-employment requirements and maintain all applicable state and job-related guidelines for background screening. Depending on state-specific requirements, this may include drug testing, health screening, CPR/Basic First Aid, and license/credential verifications
