Responsibilities
- Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters.
- Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
- Recommend strategies to motivate employees.
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
- Investigate complaints brought forward by employees.
- Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
- Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
- Manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Assist with budget monitoring and payroll.
- Develop processes and networks to accelerate hiring and onboarding of new employees to meet rapid company growth.
- Administer human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- Develop and document personnel policies in an employee handbook.
- Design and implement compensation programs, including salary structures, discretionary bonuses, and sales commission structures; monitor and revise performance evaluation programs as necessary.
- Serve as benefits administrator for health care, vacation, 401K benefits, and claims resolution.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment practices.
- Design and maintain human resource records.
- Organize and implement employee orientation, training, and exit procedures.
- Monitor employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health programs.
- Design and implement a performance management system, including goal tracking, performance reviews, and documentation.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of Human Resources experience, or a Master’s degree in HR Management with 2 years of HR experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is required.
- Paylocity experience is a plus.
- Benefits administration experience.
Pay
Salary range: $75,000–$85,000 per year.
