Responsibilities

  • Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters.
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Recommend strategies to motivate employees.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Investigate complaints brought forward by employees.
  • Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
  • Manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Assist with budget monitoring and payroll.
  • Develop processes and networks to accelerate hiring and onboarding of new employees to meet rapid company growth.
  • Administer human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
  • Develop and document personnel policies in an employee handbook.
  • Design and implement compensation programs, including salary structures, discretionary bonuses, and sales commission structures; monitor and revise performance evaluation programs as necessary.
  • Serve as benefits administrator for health care, vacation, 401K benefits, and claims resolution.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment practices.
  • Design and maintain human resource records.
  • Organize and implement employee orientation, training, and exit procedures.
  • Monitor employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health programs.
  • Design and implement a performance management system, including goal tracking, performance reviews, and documentation.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of Human Resources experience, or a Master’s degree in HR Management with 2 years of HR experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is required.
  • Paylocity experience is a plus.
  • Benefits administration experience.

Pay

Salary range: $75,000–$85,000 per year.
