Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process from start to finish, including identifying staffing needs, posting positions, reviewing resumes, conducting screenings, coordinating interviews
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, employee referrals, and community connections
- Auxiliary with seasonal hiring needs during tax season, including temporary and administrative staffing
- Coooperate with campus recruiting and help build relationships with colleges and universities for entry-level accounting and internship opportunities
- Evaluate candidates for both technical qualifications and overall fit within the firm's environment
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with partners and managers while maintaining clear communication throughout the hiring process
- Prepare offer letters, onboarding, and help create a smooth transition for new employees joining the firm
- Represent Smoker & Company LLC professionally at recruiting events, job fairs, and community networking opportunities
Qualifications
- Previous recruiting, HR, or staffing experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities at one time
- Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
- Experience recruiting in accounting, finance, or professional office environments is a plus
