Essential Functions

  • Own day-to-day administration of Rippling, including employee records, workflows, and reporting
  • Maintain data integrity and audit employee information regularly
  • Build and run standard HR reports for leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Administer health, dental, vision, 401(k), and ancillary benefits programs
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions
  • Assist in managing open enrollment end-to-end — communications, system setup, carrier coordination
  • Assist in processing and tracking leave requests (PTO, FMLA, state leave) in compliance with applicable laws
  • Maintain and update HR policies, documentation, and the employee handbook
  • Support multi-state compliance across employment laws, required notices, and filings
  • Partner with payroll to ensure accuracy on new hires, terminations, and changes
  • Support audits and reporting requirements (EEO-1, ACA, etc.)
  • Document and improve HR workflows — if it's informal today, you'll make it repeatable
  • Identify gaps in current processes and propose practical solutions
  • Assist with recruiting logistics including job postings, phone screens, interview scheduling, and/or candidate coordination
  • Support the recruiting process by managing ATS records, coordinating interviews, and processing offer letters
  • Assist with new hire pre-boarding and ensure a smooth handoff from signed offer to Day 1
  • Respond to employee HR questions with accuracy and care
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding logistics from an HR ops perspective
  • Be a reliable, approachable resource for employees navigating HR matters
  • Affiliate with Office Operations and Culture initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
  • 3–5 years of HR operations or generalist experience
  • Hands-on HRIS experience, data entry, reporting and workflow management (Rippling preferred)
  • Working knowledge of benefits administration and leave management
  • Strong attention to detail — you catch things others miss
  • Hold yourself to deadlines without needing to be chased — you're the one following up, not the one being followed up on
  • Ability to work independently with moderate direction - meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities
  • Experience using Google Workspace
  • Experience building or documenting HR processes from scratch
