HR Onboarding Coordinator-Hatchery

Location: Broadway Hatchery

About the role

This individual will be responsible for training new employees, as well as re-training current employees to ensure that all employees reach and maintain line speed requirements, while maximizing yield. Must be able to perform all jobs that are part of the full rotation in various departments, meeting specs, efficiency speeds, and productivity in order to lead by example. Must be able to work in a dusty environment and strong odors. May assist with plant quality control and problem solving. Must be willing to work in any area of the facility that has turnover.

Responsibilities

• Train new employees to perform all jobs in various departments
• Re-train current employees to maintain line speed requirements and maximize yield
• Perform all jobs in full rotation across departments to lead by example
• Work in dusty environments and areas with strong odors
• Assist with plant quality control and problem solving as needed
• Work in any area of the facility experiencing turnover

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Capable of training new employees across various departments
• Basic knowledge of office machinery (calculator, copier, computer)
• Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
• Excellent attendance, safety, and work record
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
• Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals
• Must be able to work in hot, dusty, and wet environments
• Must be able to work any schedule as needed, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to push and pull 450-pound buggies

Pay

Base hourly salary rate of $21.60

Schedule

Monday–Friday with some weekend work required.
