Job Responsibilities
Manage the new hire onboarding process from offer acceptance through 90 days, including background checks, I-9 verification, documentation, and technology setup.
Facilitate new hire orientation for all new employees, ensuring a consistent and welcoming experience.
Partner with the internal HR Payroll & Benefits team to ensure all new employees are properly set up prior to their start date.
Serve as the central coordinator for class hire onboarding (Sales & Customer Service), ensuring all departments - IT, Compliance, Licensing, L&D, and Office Coordination - have their tasks assigned, tracked, and completed on time.
Maintain onboarding trackers and communication timelines; follow up across teams to surface and resolve blockers.
Partner with hiring managers to confirm new hire readiness and a consistent first-day experience.
Process Improvement
Evaluate existing onboarding workflows and identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and operationalize.
Build and maintain SOPs, checklists, and process guides that make onboarding more repeatable and scalable.
Operations Support
Serve as a resource for ATS operations - maintaining system accuracy, requisition workflows, candidate records, and related documentation.
Maintain the job description catalog, ensuring templates are current, organized, and accessible.
Maintain the careers inbox, partnering with the internal team to ensure all inquiries are routed and handled appropriately.
Participate in career fairs, hiring events, and sourcing support as needed.
Assist in other HR projects as needed.
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational and coordination skills; able to manage multiple workstreams and hold others to deadlines.
Detail-oriented and task-driven with an ownership mentality.
Comfortable collaborating across departments and adapting to different working styles.
Tech-proficient; able to learn HR systems, ATS platforms, and AI tools quickly.
Familiarity with I-9 and background check processes a plus.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of experience within HR, recruiting, or onboarding; equivalent experience considered.
