About the role
Join a team that values people just as much as patient care. We’re seeking an organized, proactive HR Coordinator to support our growing hospice organization through recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll support, and HR administration.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.
- Care for new hire orientation, offboarding, and employee records.
- Aid with payroll processing, benefits administration, and workers’ compensation.
- Maintain HR files, employee credentials, compliance, and regulatory documentation.
- Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR processes.
- Support performance tracking, reporting, and other HR initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum one year of Human Resources or Recruiting experience.
- Experience with hiring, onboarding, and employee relations preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Knowledge of payroll and HR compliance is a plus.
- A valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
