HR Manager - Nucor Towers & Structures
About the role
The HR Manager will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and a wide range of HR support to our team members across numerous locations including but not limited to: managing all phases of talent acquisition; managing all aspects of employee relations at a site level, such as investigations, appeals, adverse actions, worker’s compensation, conflict resolution and change management; managing all compliance requirements at a site level such as change of status administration, verification of employment, standardization efforts and HR related audits; coordinating and managing all aspects of payroll administration at a site level and with NTSSC; supporting pre-employment, onboarding and offboarding requirements; managing and delivering on core training requirements such as NuFoundations, Mental Health First Aid, Privileged Social Media, etc.; and stakeholder management from an HR perspective at a site level and within the community, including various company sponsored programs at a site level.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required from an accredited University.
- At least five years of human resources experience.
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in the US.
- SAP payroll, MS Office, and HR related systems experience.
- Commitment to safety; actively involved in safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Prior experience using/knowledge of SuccessFactors and/or Beamery.
- Prior experience using NOVAtime and/or payroll software.
- Prior experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations talent systems and understand, interpret, and report analytics.
- Benefits Administration Experience.

- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in the US.
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This position is full-time and requires occasional travel to other production facilities on an as-needed basis.
