HR Manager
Job Responsibilities
Initiate, manage, and monitor assigned and delegated HR activities in support of the South Carolina Honors College (SCHC).
Ensure operational accuracy and efficiency by adhering to USC HR policies, State of SC HR regulations, and applicable federal HR law and regulations specific to higher education.
Requirements
Function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Be well organized, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be able to deal diplomatically with various constituent groups.
Show strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret information accurately.
Able to handle data with confidentiality and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Knowledge and understanding of USC HR policies, State of SC HR regulations, and applicable federal HR law and regulations specific to higher education.
Prior experience in cross-functional HR program management is preferred.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Well organized, excellent written and oral communication skills, and diplomatic interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret information accurately.
- Able to handle data with confidentiality and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to human resources.
- Able to analyze requests to determine compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
