About the role
The Human Resources Manager will serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership, providing guidance, coaching, and support on talent and employee-related matters. They will lead and develop a team of HR professionals while overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership, providing guidance, coaching, and support on talent and employee-related matters.
- Lead and develop a team of HR professionals while overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Lead investigations, recommend resolutions, and support corrective action processes while ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Drive performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives that support a positive workplace culture.
- Prepare and maintain HR compliance reports and workforce KPIs while ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Identify training needs, support employee development programs, and implement process improvements to increase HR efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience with expertise in employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance.
- Strong background supporting manufacturing, distribution, or other fast-paced operational environments.
- Deep knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, with the ability to influence leaders, manage complex employee issues, and drive organizational effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree required.
