Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary resource for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace disputes.
- Conduct investigations, mediate conflicts, and provide guidance to employees and managers to ensure fair, consistent resolution.
- Ensure full compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and notify the Business Agent of any issues involving Union members.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition & Employee Development Manager to support high volume hiring needs and deliver a professional, structured orientation and onboarding experience for all new employees.
- Lead the performance review process, train managers on effective feedback practices, and assist in developing performance improvement plans when needed.
- Maintain and update company policies and procedures within the employee handbook.
- Ensure organizational compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, FLSA, FMLA, and ADA.
- Oversee the company’s HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate, confidential, and up to date employee records.
- Maintain working knowledge of the payroll system and provide weekly payroll processing support when the primary payroll administrator is unavailable.
- Act as the main point of contact for employee benefit inquiries. Lead benefits orientation for new hires and coordinate annual open enrollment through ADP.
- Manage the employee separation process, including exit interviews, documentation, and required administrative steps.
- Oversee workers’ compensation claims and collaborate with the Safety Department to support OSHA compliance and reduce workplace incident rates.

- Adaptability: Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environment and adjust quickly as priorities evolve.
Compensation
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications. $95,000 - $105,000.
