HR Manager

About the role

Rho Nutrition is seeking an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to partner closely with our VP of HR in building and scaling a high-performing people function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the VP of HR to execute Rho's people strategy while leading the day-to-day HR function.
• Own the execution and continuous improvement of HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
• Develop, document, and optimize HR policies, procedures, and operational workflows.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5–8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including ownership of core HR operations.
• Experience managing payroll, benefits administration, leave management, HRIS, and HR compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience administering HRIS platforms (Rippling preferred).
• Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion with confidential information.
