About the role
From our Fargo Field Support Office, you’ll support our Texas region as a Human Resources Manager, partnering with leaders to build high-performing teams, strengthen leadership capability, and drive talent strategies that support business success.
Responsibilities
- Lead & Develop Your Team: Manage and support a team of HR professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and development while ensuring exceptional service and partnership across the region you support.
- Partner with Business Leaders: Serve as a trusted advisor on talent, employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, compliance, and workforce challenges.
- Drive Talent & Leadership Success: Support the full team member lifecycle while leading initiatives focused on talent acquisition, leadership development, succession planning, engagement, and retention.
- Influence Business Strategy: Participate in Regional Business Reviews and use workforce insights, trends, and metrics to help leaders make informed business decisions.
- Shape Culture & Employee Experience: Foster an engaged, high-performing workplace by promoting accountability, communication, continuous improvement, and alignment with RDO Equipment Co.’s Core Values.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field, along with 4+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Professional Credentials: PHR certification is preferred and demonstrates a commitment to HR best practices and professional development.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the aptitude to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and convey information effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Organization & Prioritization: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility & Travel: Ability to travel up to 15% as needed to support business operations, leaders, and team member initiatives across multiple locations.
- Valid Work Authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
