About the role
A dynamic and experienced HR Manager is needed for our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in delivering HR practices and objectives that foster a high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment and maintain the aspects of employee relations.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Manage and oversee the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Oversee and administer the 401K plan and other benefits programs.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive for a minimum of 5 years.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience in the construction industry would be a plus.
