HR Manager

About the role

A dynamic and experienced HR Manager is needed for our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in delivering HR practices and objectives that foster a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce.
• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
• Nurture a positive working environment and maintain the aspects of employee relations.
• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
• Manage and oversee the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Oversee and administer the 401K plan and other benefits programs.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive for a minimum of 5 years.
• People-oriented and results-driven.
• Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
• Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
• Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
• Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Experience in the construction industry would be a plus.
