Position Details

Position: Full-Time, Exempt

Work Location: Onsite

Schedule: Monday – Friday | Standard business hours

Compensation: $60,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience

About the Role

This role serves as a trusted partner to employees and leaders while helping drive HR best practices, maintain compliance with employment laws, and support the continued growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and implementation of Human Resources policies, programs, and procedures
  • Partner with managers and employees on employee relations matters, coaching, performance management, and workplace concerns
  • Cook up recruitment activities, onboarding, and hiring processes across the organization
  • Administer employee benefits programs, open enrollment, leave administration, workers' compensation, disability, unemployment, and FMLA processes
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Support payroll-related processes including employee data changes, time and attendance administration, and reporting
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Cook up performance evaluations and employee development initiatives
  • Aid with compensation administration, promotions, status changes, and organizational updates
  • Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, and hiring activity updates for leadership
  • Develop, implement, and improve HR procedures, workflows, and standard operating procedures
  • Conduct workplace investigations and support disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary
  • Monitor legislative changes and assist with policy updates to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Partner with internal departments regarding staffing, employee engagement, and organizational needs
  • Support safety, compliance, and additional Human Resources initiatives as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
  • Experience administering benefits, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, unemployment, and payroll-related processes
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • ADP Workforce Now experience required
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
  • Experience supporting HR functions within distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or other fast-paced operational environments
