HR Manager
Position Details
Position: Full-Time, Exempt
Work Location: Onsite
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Standard business hours
Compensation: $60,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience

About the Role
This role serves as a trusted partner to employees and leaders while helping drive HR best practices, maintain compliance with employment laws, and support the continued growth of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support the administration and implementation of Human Resources policies, programs, and procedures
- Partner with managers and employees on employee relations matters, coaching, performance management, and workplace concerns
- Cook up recruitment activities, onboarding, and hiring processes across the organization
- Administer employee benefits programs, open enrollment, leave administration, workers' compensation, disability, unemployment, and FMLA processes
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Support payroll-related processes including employee data changes, time and attendance administration, and reporting
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Cook up performance evaluations and employee development initiatives
- Aid with compensation administration, promotions, status changes, and organizational updates
- Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, and hiring activity updates for leadership
- Develop, implement, and improve HR procedures, workflows, and standard operating procedures
- Conduct workplace investigations and support disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary
- Monitor legislative changes and assist with policy updates to ensure ongoing compliance
- Partner with internal departments regarding staffing, employee engagement, and organizational needs
- Support safety, compliance, and additional Human Resources initiatives as assigned
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
- Experience administering benefits, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, unemployment, and payroll-related processes
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- ADP Workforce Now experience required
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- Experience supporting HR functions within distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or other fast-paced operational environments
