HR Manager
About the Role
CV Resources is partnering with a stable, well-established organization in Vancouver, WA to hire an experienced HR Manager. This is a highly visible role within a small HR team and offers an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to grow into senior HR leadership. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded HR professional who enjoys being hands-on while also contributing to broader strategy. Talent acquisition will be a significant part of the position, alongside compensation, compliance, leave administration, employee engagement, and HR systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
- Partner with leadership on hiring strategies, job descriptions, and compensation ranges.
- Support compensation reviews, salary benchmarking, and internal equity analysis.
- Administer leave programs including FMLA, state paid leave, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and return-to-work.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Support employee engagement, retention, performance management, investigations, and other HR initiatives.
- Maintain HRIS data and utilize reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressively responsible HR experience.
- Strong HR generalist background with meaningful talent acquisition/recruiting experience.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; Paycom experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment compliance and HR best practices.
- Ability to operate independently within a small, versatile HR team.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on HR responsibilities with strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in HR/Business and SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
