HR Generalist / Recruiter

About the role

The Aerospace HR Generalist / Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting and day-to-day human resources support in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This role partners with hiring managers to attract top talent, support employee relations, ensure compliance, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, interview, and coordinate hiring activities.
• Lead onboarding and new hire orientation processes.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and HR policy administration.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and aerospace industry regulations.
• Affirmatively recruit technical or engineering talent as needed.
• Affirmatively assist with benefits administration, training initiatives, and employee engagement programs.
• Track recruiting metrics and support HR reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of HR and/or recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting technical or engineering talent preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
