Brief Description
We’re Hiring! We have an opening available for an HR Generalist in our Denver, CO office.
The Role
- Recruit and interview to fill vacant positions
- Maintain applicant tracking system including providing analytics on time posted and time to fill
- Responsible for timely communication with hiring managers, staffing agencies and candidates
- Aid in the development and execution of recruitment programs including outreach programs and career fairs
- Assist with the administration of company benefit programs including assisting employees with eligibility questions, maintaining benefit records in HRIS system including processing enrollments, status changes, and terminations
- Review monthly benefit invoices and submit for payment
- First line of contact for all employees regarding HR and payroll related questions including but not limited to time and attendance, benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures
- Maintain personnel files and HRIS transactions including hiring, promotions, transfers, status changes, and terminations
- Process bi-weekly payroll including pay changes, additional earnings, garnishments, tax levies, support orders, etc.
- Respond to unemployment claims in a timely manner
- Work closely with Accounting and Information Technology to ensure employment-related transactions are completed timely and accurately
- Onboard new hires including data entry in HRIS system, benefit enrollment, training on processes, programs, policies, information systems, I-9’s and pre-employment screenings
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations, including, but not limited to EEO, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA
- Support the Sr. HR Director with the intake of employee relations issues, as needed
- Aid the Sr. HR Director with the development and execution of HR related programs, including but not limited to, performance and talent management, recognition and engagement, training, and development
- Maintain confidentiality on all HR related matters
- Other duties as assigned
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration/Management or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive human resources experience required
- HRIS experience required (UKG preferred)
- HRCI and/or SHRM certification preferred
- Previous payroll experience required
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations and ability to monitor employment law updates required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while successfully handling multiple priorities
- Skilled in developing and maintaining strong working relationships and delivering results in a professional manner
- Judgement and decision-making skills to improve employee service and the ability to address privacy/compliance issues with a sense of urgency
Compensation
In accordance with Colorado state law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and Colorado location associated with this requisition: $90,000-$115,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon compensable factors, including experience, education, and skill level.
