HR Generalist Employee Relations

About the role

We are seeking a HR Generalist Employee Relations, sometimes referred to as a Human Resources Business Partner (HR Business Partner), Senior HR Representative or Human Resources Employee Relationships Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Consult with leaders on employee relations matters, including performance management, corrective action, and workplace concerns
• Investigate complaints related to policy violations, discrimination, harassment, and other workplace issues; ensure timely, thorough, and objective outcomes
• Lead and support employee relations investigations, including documentation, interviews, and recommendations for resolution
• Provide training and coaching to leaders on employee relations topics, policies, and best practices
• Facilitate survey readiness efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory and HR requirements
• Respond to unemployment claims, including gathering documentation and preparing responses in alignment with organizational standards
• Investigate and resolve employee grievances in a fair, consistent, and compliant manner
• Track and monitor compliance related to contract labor, ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate and confidential records related to employee relations, investigations, and compliance activities

Requirements

• You must have at least 3 years of experience in employee relations
• You must have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (HR) or closely related field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or closely related field preferred
• 5 years experience in a Human Resources; with two years of this experience being in healthcare preferred

Skills

• Computer knowledge that includes Excel, Word, Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of material with attention to detail
