Responsibilities
- Administer the hourly employment office functions and processes
- Aid in workforce analysis, deployment, and people power management
- Manage the day-to-day Employment window functions such as leave tracking, reinstatements, general employee questions and support, records management, etc.
- Implement onboarding orientation sessions for the HBU workforce
- Support the implementation and execution of our lean manufacturing methodology
- Drive a positive workplace culture by supporting plant employee engagement initiatives
- Aid in the administration of the national and local collective bargaining agreements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong follow up, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field
- Able to interact with all levels of management and Union officials to accomplish goals
- Manufacturing experience is highly desirable
