Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
- Lead recruitment efforts including job postings, candidate sourcing, and screening
- Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, community partnerships, networking, and resume databases
- Conduct initial phone screens and candidate assessments
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and recommend effective recruiting strategies
- Represent the YMCA at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, workforce development agencies, and community partners to build candidate pipelines
- Track recruitment metrics and assist in improving hiring processes and timelines
HR Support Functions
- Provide support with HR initiatives including benefits administration, onboarding coordination, employee relations matters, and staff development programs
- Afford assistance with HR documentation, reporting, and administrative processes including, but not limited to benefits and retirement, employee discipline, FMLA, and employee record keeping
- Offer high-quality customer service and support to YMCA employees and managers
- Afford assistance with special HR projects and initiatives that support organizational goals
