About the role
The HR Generalist supports key HR functions across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, HRIS administration, compliance tracking, leave administration, and employee support. This role requires blending relationship-building with strong administrative and organizational skills and serving as a key operational partner within the HR team.
Responsibilities
- Promote positive employee experience by providing responsive, professional, and customer-focused support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data within Paycom.
- Track and maintain compliance-related records and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate leave administration activities with employees, managers, payroll, and HR leadership.
- Escalate complex leave matters as appropriate.
- Support workers' compensation, unemployment, and leave administration activities.
- Maintain HR reports and workforce trackers.
- Identify operational challenges, recommend solutions, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may also be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and improve processes.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms, such as Paycom, with the ability to learn and navigate new systems effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient, with strong time-management skills and the ability to maintain accuracy while managing competing priorities.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
Skills
- Proficiency with standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Comfort using general office technology.

Pay
This is a 40-hour, non-exempt, full-time position. The compensation range is $62,000 - $80,000 annually.
Schedule
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. This position is on-site at our main office and is not remote.
