Responsibilities
- Sources, attracts, interviews, hires, and onboards employees.
- Maintains a talent pipeline for hourly, non-exempt positions.
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to create requisitions, update job descriptions, and keep hiring managers and HR Manager updated on the status of candidates.
- Maintains open position and interview spreadsheets and owns the onboarding process for hourly employees, partnering with other individuals on the HR team for coordination.
- Builds relationships with local organizations, trade schools, colleges, veteran’s groups, and diversity sources to support the talent pipeline.
- Sources candidates through online government required job boards, diversity sources, local organizations, trade schools, and college sources.
- Participates actively in job fairs in the local market and at colleges.
- Maintains a calendar for job fairs and tracks records of candidates/hires from the job fairs for evaluation.
- Maintains budget information for ad placement and cost of job fairs.
- Provides insight and market information regarding.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience in talent acquisition/recruiting (1-3 years)
- Previous recruitment experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities
- Sound judgment, including maintaining highly confidential information
- Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to complete assigned tasks; results-driven
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, MS Dynamics (a plus)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional business environment verbally, electronically, and written
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
