HR Generalist

Job Duties
The Human Resources Generalist provides HR support in areas such as recruitment, staffing, employee relations, personnel administration, and HR operations. This position assists employees and managers, coordinates hiring activities, processes HR transactions, maintains personnel records, and ensures compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Represents unit/program at institutional workshops, informational meetings, and training sessions
- Receives, responds to, and resolves employee questions and problems
- Executes and audits work transactions and changes adhering to established policies and procedures to meet anticipated deadlines
- Contributes to the development, implementation, interpretation, and revision of work unit Human Resources policies and procedures according to institutional and legal rules and regulations
- Provides consultation, performs analytics, and/or maintains personnel files, communications, and materials for work unit through various mediums
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience working in Human Resources
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday
- Knowledge of or exposure to HR Analytics
Pay
$60,000-$65,000 depending on qualifications and experience
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without university sponsorship now or in the future. Visa sponsorship (including H-1B, L-1, TN, or F-1 extensions such as OPT or STEM OPT) is not provided for this position.
