HR Generalist

Responsibilities

• Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates.
• Manage onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, issues, and concerns. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Implement and manage performance appraisal processes, coaching managers on performance improvement plans, goal setting, and employee development.
• Identify training needs and facilitate programs to enhance employee skills and career development. Coordinate leadership development initiatives and succession planning.
• Support compensation programs, including salary reviews, and benefits enrollment.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
• Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover, employee engagement, and performance. Provide reports and analysis to management for informed decision-making.
• Lead or participate in HR initiatives and projects aimed at improving HR processes, enhancing employee engagement, and driving organizational change.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and regulations.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and talent development.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience supporting employees in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
