HR Generalist
About the Role
The HR Generalist assists in multiple areas of HR including recruitment, employee relations, retention strategies, and performance management. This role also assists with departmental compliance with facility, legal, and regulatory requirements. Plans and organizes a system of personnel record keeping that is efficient and protects the confidentiality of employee records. Leads the recruitment process for the facility, posts job requisitions, screens candidates, makes offers of employment, and follows the process to hire. Schedules, notifies, and prepares proper paperwork for the New Employee Orientation Program. Conducts the personnel portion of the orientation process.
Responsibilities
- Performs full cycle recruitment for assigned positions.
- Assists with engagement and retention programs including the onboarding program.
- Helps coordinate and prepare for New Hire Orientation, staff onboarding requirements, and maintenance of staff education requirements.
- Performs HR file audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in human resources, preferably in a health care setting. A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
