About the role
The Human Resources (HR) team is seeking a high-energy, growth mindset HR Generalist who enjoys working with a diverse workforce. You will be responsible for supporting and/or performing a variety of day-to-day duties in the following functional areas: payroll actions, benefits administration, recruiting and onboarding, HRIS, project management, policy implementation, affirmative action, employee relations, talent development, training, and employment law compliance.
Responsibilities
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures as assigned.
- Aids in the development, implementation, and administration of human capital policies and procedures, based on business needs and legal changes.
- Maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual in partnership with the HR team.
- Communicates with the HR team to ensure awareness of what is happening in assigned areas for business continuity, risk mitigation and alignment.
- Recruitment: Supports full life cycle recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt employees. This will include, but is not limited to: New hire requisition approvals; writing job postings, placing posting on corporate careers website and job boards.
- Onboarding: Works with hiring managers to properly prepare for employee’s start with the organization.
- Employee Relations: Assists with employee related issues and/or investigations; works through employee relations concerns and issues for solutions in partnership with Director of HR.
- Function as primary point of contact for assigned employee group regarding benefits, payroll, time off requests.
- Manage special projects related to talent development, strategic planning, people data reports and other ad-hoc works in progress.
- Aids in evaluating reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Maintain HRIS application (UKG) to ensure accuracy of employee data.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 2 years prior Human Resources experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of human resources information systems (HRIS).
- Intermediate to advance level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail, follow through, and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
