HR Generalist
We're searching for an HR Generalist who is equal parts talent magnet, culture champion, employee advocate, and operational powerhouse. This role is the face of HR for employees, partnering with leaders to attract exceptional talent, deliver an outstanding employee experience, drive employee engagement initiatives, and help shape the future of our workplace culture. Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for all open positions and proactively recruit talent ahead of hiring needs.
- Build strong talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
- Partner with our Marketing team to strengthen and promote our employer brand.
- Develop recruiting strategies that attract top talent.
- Lead the internship program, building relationships with colleges and universities to create a robust future talent pipeline.
- Create and deliver an engaging, effective, and memorable onboarding experience for new employees.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and HR systems.
- Provide leadership and direction to our Culture Club, helping drive employee engagement initiatives, company events, and culture-building activities.
- Represent HR on the Safety Committee.
- Foster a workplace culture where employees feel connected, supported, and empowered to do their best work.
- Own the administration of benefits including open enrollment, new hire enrollment, life events, and employee benefit changes.
- Conduct annual audits of employee records, benefits administration, and HR policies.
- Maintain employee personnel records with a high level of accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Own and maintain HR resources, documentation, policies, and employee information within SharePoint and internal knowledge platforms.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Stay informed on emerging HR trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with HR team members on strategic projects, policy implementation, and process improvements.
- Recommend innovative approaches that enhance departmental efficiency and improve the overall employee experience.
- Facilitate HRIS training and support for employees and managers.
- Deliver exceptional service and support to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Provide occasional front desk coverage when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist position with hands-on recruiting experience.
- Strong experience sourcing and proactively recruiting talent, not simply posting openings and reviewing applicants.
- Solid understanding of core HR functions including recruiting, benefits, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience supporting an on-site and remote organization.
- Experience leading employee committees, engagement initiatives, events, or workplace programs.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Experience administering HRIS platforms (Paylocity preferred) and employee benefits programs.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
Schedule
This role follows a hybrid schedule based out of our Bedford, NH office. Regular travel between our Bedford office and Pannos Marketing's Manchester location is required. The position also requires the ability to attend employee events and company functions that may occur outside of normal business hours.
