Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for human resources operations, ensuring employee records, documentation, and administrative processes are maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Guide new hires through the onboarding process by preparing materials, coordinating required steps, and helping create a smooth start to employment.
- Respond to employee questions and workplace concerns, offering timely support and escalating sensitive matters when appropriate.
- Aid in benefits-related activities, including employee communications, enrollment support, and follow-up on eligibility or coverage questions.
- Maintain and update information within the HRIS to support accurate reporting, employee data management, and routine personnel transactions.
- Partner with managers and internal stakeholders to help interpret HR policies and promote consistent employment practices.
- Support compliance-focused HR tasks such as document tracking, audit readiness, and adherence to organizational procedures and employment requirements.
Requirements
- Experience working in a Human Resources Generalist or comparable HR support role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employee relations practices and day-to-day HR administration.
- Hands-on experience coordinating onboarding activities for new employees.
- Familiarity with benefits administration and employee support related to benefit programs.
- Proficiency using HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate personnel data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a Contract environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in HR or a related field.
