- Serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, helping drive engagement, strengthen leadership effectiveness, ensure consistent application of policies, and support workforce initiatives that improve retention, performance, and the overall employee experience.
- Partner with plant leadership to drive employee engagement, strengthen organizational culture, and support workforce retention.
- Build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Identify engagement trends and opportunities and partner with leaders to implement meaningful improvements.
- Serve as a primary resource for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and ensuring fair, consistent resolution of workplace issues.
- Coach supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance management, communication, and leadership effectiveness.
- Partner with leaders to address attendance, conduct, and performance concerns while reinforcing accountability.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, practices, and employment laws.
- Analyze trends in turnover, attendance, employee relations, and engagement to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support onboarding, recognition, retention, and communication initiatives that strengthen workforce effectiveness.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on employee experience, workforce stability, and HR processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Three or more years of HR experience.
- Strong employee relations and performance management experience.
- Ability to influence leaders and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferences
- Mechanical engineering or industrial environment experience.
- Experience leading employee engagement and culture initiatives.
- Experience coaching frontline leaders.
- Experience with HRIS platforms, including Workday and/or ADP.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
