HR Generalist

About the Role

This is an onsite, hands-on Human Resources Generalist position supporting the Salt Lake City, Utah plant. The role is designed for someone energized by fast-paced manufacturing environments and eager to shape recruitment, engagement, retention, safety culture, and leadership capability across the entire operation.

Responsibilities

• Increase employee retention and satisfaction through frontline recruitment efforts.
• Implement staffing and hiring plans, and lead proactive plantwide workforce planning activities.
• Conduct on-site job fairs and host external hiring events to ensure consistent, proactive recruitment.
• Engage with local community-based organizations to expand candidate talent pools.
• Champion a positive, compliant, and high-performance workplace culture.
• Bridge communication between leadership and frontline employees.
• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
• Assess training needs and support employee growth and development.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, HR best practices, and safety standards.
• Promote a "see something, say something" plant culture and reinforce safety and well-being programs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven success as an HR Generalist in manufacturing or an industrial environment.
• Strong track record in frontline recruitment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge plant leadership constructively and manage without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) ability is preferred.
