HR Generalist

Job Profile An HR generalist manages daily human resources tasks. They handle hiring, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and legal compliance. Responsibilities Hiring and Onboarding: Post jobs, screen resumes, set up interviews, and guide new staff through orientation. Employee Relations: Help solve workplace issues, answer staff questions, and support positive team culture Benefits and Pay Support: Explain and manage employee benefits, track time-off, and assist with payroll data. Policy and Compliance: Make sure the company follows labor laws and update the employee handbook. Records and Data: Keep secure, accurate worker files using HR software (HRIS) Requirements/Key Experiences Education: Associate's degree in human resources, business, or a related field. Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on HR work. Knowledge: Strong grasp of basic labor laws and HR best practices. Soft Skills: Clear communication, active listening, and fair problem-solving. Tech Skills: Comfort with Microsoft Office and online HR tools or databases
