Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist assists with tasks related to recruiting, benefits, compensation, payroll, employee relations, training, and special projects. They ensure information is processed accurately and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
Primary Accountabilities
- First point of contact for servicing questions from employees regarding common human resource policies and procedures, including routine benefits and 401K information.
- Utilize the HRIS system (Workday) on a daily basis.
- Develop and provide HR data such as: detailed employee information, turnover analysis, scorecard preparation, auditor requested information, etc.
- Aid in dual control, quality assurance, and/or data entry of payroll data.
- Aid in the maintenance of the LMS system within HRIS system.
- Aid in coordination of worker’s compensation and unemployment functions.
- Aid in coordination of the FMLA benefit.
- Aid in maintenance of job descriptions, job evaluations, develop grade assignments, and JVM maintenance (as needed).
- Assists in maintaining the HR page of the intranet.
- Answer questions from the “HR” email inbox.
- Manage employee records.
- Aids in monthly insurance invoice and COBRA reconciliation.
- Aid in compliance-related activities.
- Aid in drafting policies and procedures.
- Aid with human resources related projects.
- Aid in qualifying life events that result in benefit/payroll changes.
- Participate in wage and benefit survey (as needed).
- Aid in recruitment activities such as phone interviews, scheduling interviews, drafting offer letter (as needed).
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
Position Qualifications
- Education/Experience: Associates degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Previous exposure to HRIS systems a plus. 0-3 years of human resources/payroll experience. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel experience.

Pay
Salary Range: $50,000-$75,000/annually
Compensation Details
Exact compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) education, skills, internal equity, and experience. This position offers additional compensation in the form of short-term incentives (i.e. bonus and/or commission) and may include long-term incentives (i.e. stock awards).
