HR Generalist

A dynamic, fast-growing private equity firm is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its People team. While established in size, the company maintains the energy, agility, and entrepreneurial spirit of a startup, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building processes, supporting employees, and driving operational excellence. This role offers broad exposure across the employee lifecycle and will play a key role in creating a seamless employee experience while ensuring compliance, process efficiency, and organizational growth.

What You'll Do

• Design and manage onboarding programs that set employees up for success from day one
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and offboarding
• Maintain accurate employee data and records across HR systems, including Greenhouse and Culture Amp
• Optimize People Operations processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and employee experience
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and employment regulations
• Administer and support employee health and wellness benefits programs
• Generate reports and maintain data integrity across systems and platforms
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing responsive, white-glove support
• Partner cross-functionally to support people initiatives, policies, and programs as the organization continues to grow

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Generalist, People Operations Generalist, or similar human resources role
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and benefits administration
• Experience working with HRIS, ATS, and employee engagement platforms; familiarity with Greenhouse and Culture Amp is highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to synthesize information, analyze processes, and implement improvements

Pay

$115k - $120k base
