HR Generalist

Responsibilities

• Sources, attracts, interviews, hires, and onboards employees.
• Maintains a talent pipeline for hourly, non-exempt positions.
• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
• Collaborates with hiring managers to create requisitions, update job descriptions, and stay updated on candidate progress.
• Maintains open position and interview spreadsheets and oversees the onboarding process for hourly employees.
• Builds relationships with local organizations, trade schools, colleges, veteran’s groups, and diversity sources to support the talent pipeline.
• Sources candidates through online job boards, diversity sources, local organizations, trade schools, and college sources.
• Participates in job fairs in the local market and at colleges, maintaining a calendar and tracking records of candidates and hires.
• Maintains budget information for ad placement and job fair costs.
• Provides insights and market information regarding talent acquisition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in talent acquisition/recruiting.
• 1-3 years of experience in talent acquisition/recruiting.
• Previous recruitment experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Sound judgment, confidentiality, and ability to handle sensitive situations.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish).
• Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, MS Dynamics (a plus).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with clear communication abilities.
