Summary/Objective
The HR Generalist provides comprehensive day-to-day support for our manufacturing operations. This role focuses on executing a wide range of HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. The ideal candidate is a versatile professional who enjoys being "on the floor," balancing administrative excellence with accelerated support to ensure smooth HR operational workflows and a positive work environment.Essential Functions
- Culture & Advocacy: Acts as a brand ambassador for the company’s mission, vision, and values. Leads initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and a positive organizational climate.
- Talent Acquisition: Supports in executing the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, candidate assessment, and seamless onboarding. Builds a robust talent pipeline by representing the company at industry and community events.
- Employee Relations: Serves as a trusted advisor to staff at the operational level. Manages employee relations matters through objective investigations, conflict resolution, and comprehensive documentation to mitigate risk.
- Process Improvement: Partners with frontline leadership to create and provide solutions that elevate the employee experience that improves operations.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensures all HR data is accurate and programs are aligned and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while keeping management teams up to date.
- Lifecycle Management: Manages the entire employee lifecycle—from integration to offboarding—ensuring that each stage is supported by seamless employee experiences.
- Organizational Health: Regularly assesses the "pulse" of the workforce through direct feedback loops to drive engagement strategies and maintain high morale.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, on-site position.Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Human Resources, Business Management, Organizational Development, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Previous experience as an HR Generalist within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite products.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or comparable HRIS platforms.
- Experience with ADP payroll/HR systems is a significant plus.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement environments is highly desirable.
- Professional certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with high integrity.
- Proven judgment in assessing, de-escalating, and resolving personnel issues.
- Ability to project a professional image and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills paired with a proactive, self-starting work ethic.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to thrive and prioritize in a high-speed environment.
