HR Generalist
About the role
Darigold is seeking a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to join our HR field team based in the Treasure Valley. This role serves Darigold locations in Idaho and Montana.
Responsibilities
- Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors.
- Creates organizational guidelines and maintains updated processes.
- Maintains the electronic filing system in UKG.
- Updates records to accommodate new hires.
- Coordinates and onboards new employees, making them feel welcome at Darigold.
- Covers employee promotions, transfers, and changes for employees, coordinating with corporate HR teams and business.
- Develops ideas to motivate employees and foster a "Best Place to Work" culture.
- Serves as a point of contact for employee terminations, writing termination letters, sending required notices, and conducting exit interviews.
- Completes annual required compliance trainings (EEO, FCPA, safety vehicle training), and professional development training programs.
- Pulls reports to share data on town halls or with managers.
- Completes regular audits of HR data and files, including but not limited to I-9, FLSA, and salary grade.
- Maintains HR Team Resources on SharePoint, including development and maintenance of HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Partners with corporate HR teams to implement key company initiatives.
- Participates in meetings with business leaders and employees representing the HR team and provides updates on key HR projects such as performance review, employee survey, and listening to employees' feedback regarding their experience working at Darigold.
- Collaborates with the plant management team to track temporary employees, follows up with managers to ensure timely termination and deprovisioning of accounts.
- Maintains employment law posters and postings.
- Provides support for special projects.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- The ability to travel up to 20% of the time is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience supporting human resources or related programs required.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
