Position Summary

What a Day In Life Looks Like
- Walking on the production floor to connect with employees and leaders, building trust and maintaining strong relationships.
- Supporting managers through employee relations concerns, performance conversations, and leadership challenges.
- Coordinating recruiting efforts, screening candidates, and facilitating interviews.
- Partnering with employees and leaders on leave administration, accommodations, and workplace concerns, ensuring compliance with federal and California employment laws.
- Assisting with union-related questions, employee concerns, and maintaining positive working relationships.
- Leading onboarding efforts to ensure new hires feel welcomed, connected, and supported.
- Conducting workplace investigations with professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality.
- Supporting employee engagement activities, recognition efforts, celebrations, and culture-building initiatives.
- Partnering with leadership to enhance retention, accountability, communication, and overall team effectiveness.
- Maintaining accurate HR records, coordinating payroll, and managing HRIS data.
- Jumping in where needed to support the business, employees, and team.

Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
- Experience managing Human Resources across multiple states, including California.
- 1-2 years of union experience is desirable.
Other Requirements
- Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
- The role involves some travel (around 10%) and requires a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
