About the role

The Human Resources Generalist is heavily weighted with recruitment – handling the open position lifecycle which includes position postings, applicant tracking, negotiating job offers, and onboarding new employees. The HR Generalist utilizes platform methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, colleges / universities, community services, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Handles the open position lifecycle including position postings, applicant tracking, negotiating job offers, and onboarding new employees.
  • Utilizes platform methods such as social media, job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, colleges / universities, community services, etc.
  • Administers leaves, training, unemployment, workers’ comp, data reporting, comp changes, benefits and retirement plan administration.
  • Manages employee relations, performance management, employment credentialing, and payroll processing.

Qualifications

  • Experience in human resources generalist roles.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
